I have also been writing betting ring reports for the firm since 2017, a continuation of the work I'd been doing on my own website and in the local press since the 1990's. Star Sports were my ideal vehicle for writing about the action in the betting ring as they are known, dare I say even better known now, as the firm that take the big bets and have stood horses to lose over a million quid at the premier meetings. It's great fun to write about. 

Star Sports had previously been a bespoke telephone betting firm aiming for the high-rolling business. They have since opened and are continuing to open betting shops, their flagship being in Mayfair just around the corner from the Dorchester. Most recently they offer and on-line and app betting service where smaller staking punters are welcomed.
